The Achievement Awards recognize the innovation and creativity made by an individual or publication to the magazine industry. Achievement Awards include both individual and publication categories: Achievement in Publishing, Editor of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Best New Magazine and Magazine of the Year. Achievement Awards are open to all current AMPA member magazines (with the exception of the Best New Magazine award, which is open to all magazines that fulfill the eligibility criteria).
Entry portal to open: Early December
Early Bird entry deadline: Jan. 22, 2021 at 4PM
Entry deadline: Jan. 31, 2021 at 4PM
Fees apply to Best New Magazine and Magazine of the Year categories
Early Bird fee: $40 per entry
Regular fee: $45 per entry
Small circulation (<1,000) and freelance Early Bird:$30
Small circulation (<1,000) and freelance Regular: $35
Each AMPA member magazine is eligible to receive one free entry. Use code: GIFTENTRY. This entry needs to be done separately from any paid entries. You will be prompted to pay even if your total is $0.00. Select pay by cheque and type GIFTENTRY into the notes section and you will not be invoiced.
