Share your thoughts: Export Support for Canada’s Creative Industries

Date: 23rd June 2021

The Department of Canadian Heritage invites you to share your views on how to strengthen export support to Canada’s creative industries.

The current mechanism for supporting creative exports, the Creative Export Strategy, is set to expire in March 2023. Your feedback will help policymakers to better understand the challenges faced by Canadian creative businesses in their export journey and allow the suite of programs and services under the Creative Export Strategy to be tailored to their needs.

Canadian Heritage will be hosting a series of virtual roundtable sessions between June 25, 2021 and July 9, 2021 to hear your input on how best to provide export support to Canada’s creative industries going forward. Both French and English sessions will be held via the Zoom platform, allowing you to participate via telephone or via video conference.

For more information about the roundtable sessions, including dates and registration information, please click here: https://www.canada.ca/en/canadian-heritage/campaigns/creative-export-strategy-consultation.html

In addition, an online survey will be available in the coming weeks to allow you to provide further comments. Details will be available on Canadian Heritage’s website.

We encourage you to share this email with others in your network that may have an interest in this topic.
